iPod Nano(Chromatic)

Apple has recently launched the new line of iPod Nanos' with 8GB and 16GB capacity, advertising them as "Nanochromatic"

The new iPod Nano comes with 9 different colours and a curved, all aluminium, glass designed body..
Wow that sounds pretty Good !!@!

The Sept '08 Keynote also initiated the launch of the "Genius" playlist feature which comes preinstalled in the Nano.

Well- what is the "Genius" playlist?
The Genius playlist is a very intelligent tool. It picks up songs from your iTunes library which go together and plays them, making you feel in a true party with appropriate music going on thereby setting the mood ;-) !!@!

To add to this- the new range of Nanos comes with the Accelerometer as well. Just shake the iPod to change the music(Kinda old-Sony Ericsson came wid it long ago!) and also turn the phone to select songs in Coverflow or watch videos in landscape view giving you better video experience ...

The iPod Nano costs $149, which is priced just $50 below the iPhone...
Why not shell out $50 more and get a phone cum ipod??
Hope apple decides to set its prices in a more smarter way !!@!

The phone also comes with a 2.8 TFT-LCD touch interface.

The phone is GPS and A-GPS ready and also comes with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and HSDPA.

The back cover reminds of the Nokia Prism and is equipped with a 3.2mp camera with autofocus enabling still and video .. The front VGA camera also enables video calling for upto 145 mins on a WCDMA netork.

Sony Ericcson w910i

Um if you got a lot of money and want to waste it - then take my advice people - buy this phone...

This phone incorporates the new Technology by Sony to shake your phone and control your music ...

Besides that it comes with an ok-ok 2mp camera but without flash like most of the new Walkman series phones ..

Mssg for Sony: I'm sure manufacturing each phone hardly cost you a few dollars then why not add flash to the walkman series??
This is a perfect example to show that cell phone companies dont want to give their customers a fully loaded phone ..

Like all other Walkman phones this one also has the Track-id feature which allows you to identify songs by just recording a part of it and uploading it on the relevant website .. I dunno how accurate it is as I've never used it and expandable memory using the new M2 cards...
It also has a front VGA camera for video calls.

The number keys are quite clustered making it difficult for people with big fingures to use ...

LG KU990 Viewty

Ok let me tell you this- when this phone was about to be released , there were rumours which claimed that this phone is going to give the iPhone a tough competition. Well if you fell for them then all I can say is the biggest fool is in front of the monitor reading this post...

Wat was LG thinking?? They thought they could come with a touch interface similar to the multitouch interface like the iPhone?? All i can say is LG's efforts to do so have totally gone down the drains.
This is how (I Presume) LG thought it would compete with the iPhone:
1.They put in a 5mp camera which (according to me) has pretty decent clearity. Nothing like the N95. Well apart from the camera you get additional features like zoom, video recording with ISO 800 which enables you to record and playback videos in slow motion.
2. Viewty is equipped with 3G. A few months ago the iPhone lacked 3G but now as u all know iPhone 3G is finally in stores.
3. LG tried to incorporate the new multitouch interface in this "iPhone killer" but it failed pathetically.. When using the phone one realises that you really got to press the screen really hard to use it and literally feel the screen being pressed. Do you notice this in the iphone?? Secondly, if the boasts a multitouch interface why would the company provide a stylus along with it??
4.This phone also offers MMS and EMS which the iphone doesn't..

A few thing i really want to know about the phone:
1.Why did LG put 3G in the phone and remove Wi-fi ?? I mean how does one access the net and emails in a country that does not have 3G services?? You'll have to suffer with the retarted GPRS speed i guess..
2.What operating system does this phone use?? Is it possible to install third party .jar applications??

Nokia N95 8GB

The Nokia N95 8Gb with 3.5G service which is suppose to be three times faster than HSDPA and Wi-Fi too... It boasts a 5mp camera which is excellent on the move pictures with exceptional clearity thanks to the Carl-Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens.

N95 is loaded with the Symbian Series 60 3rd edition O.S 9.1.
Im sure you guys are aware of the numerous problems the Symbian software offer ;-)..

Now guys explain this- why does Nokia give amazing speakers on the phone and horrible output from the 3.5mm headphone jack ...
Want to use this phone as a music player the iPod??? Trust be its a big NOO !!!

I like the two way slide design with the four music control buttons on the top. The numbers according to me are way too close together but somehow messaging with this phone is quite easy !!@!

The N95 has an N-Gage application which allows you to play n-gage games but its really not easy to play them though.

iPhone

Lets start with the latest mobile phone in the market which has taken the whole world in its realm.

Yes ofcourse, the legendary new iPhone 3G

Apple seems to be really really ahead of all others as fas as technology is concerned .

The iphone has the multitouch feature which is far better than the old point touch phones.
An exceptionally good 2mp camera which definitely beats other 2mp camera phones in the market.
The accelerometer which works like a motion sensor which is why you get the pictures rotate automatically ...

These were just the basic features about the iPhone, lets talk about the new feature with the 3G version.
1.As the name suggests the new iPhone has the 3G feature in it which means u get faster internet and ofcourse pay your servive provider a bomb if u dont have a decent data plan
2. It has G.P.S- apart from the Google maps feature the new iPhone also has a G.P.S system
3. AppStore- The new deal with Apple: Apple has launched the AppStore in the new iPhone and in the iphone 2.0 firmware which allows you to put third party applications like additional games atc. to your phone but ofcourse you have to pay a price to Apple almighty.
4. For business people it comes with the Microsoft Exchange server which makes the iPhone compatible for your business needs
5. Mobile Me feature which is similar to the .Mac feature

As of now the new firmware and the new iphone has not been jailbroken yet which means you wont be able ti install third party apps which the community has to offer for free ... There are videos spread around the net which show the Dev team jailbreak the iphone ... I'm a strong supporter of Zibri so wont upgrade to the 2.0 untill Zibri gives the green signal ..
